Why donate to us?
We have a bold vision of an Australia where racism and prejudice have been eliminated and all young people feel that they belong. Your support is vital – we can’t do it without you.
Please donate today so we can build a more cohesive and inclusive Australian now.
Australia is a multi-cultural society and most of us are proud of it. However, in 2025 racist incidents are on the increase and rising at an alarming rate – all forms of prejudice continue to plague our society. We have a problem and we need to work together to build an Australia where all Australian children feel like they belong.
Together for Humanity has worked for our 20 years in school communities to combat prejudice and advance belonging and inclusion. We teach students and teachers to challenge stereotypes; reduce fears of cultural difference; deal with prejudice and discrimination to develop empathy, mutual acceptance and belonging. Please donate today.
Our Impact
Over the last 20 years we have reached over 500,000 young Australians through programs that foster social inclusion and respect.
In 2024 Together for Humanity increased the number of students in our programs:
- by 79% across Australia
- in NSW by 40%
- in Vic by 198%
- in QLD by 112%
- The number of schools we work with by 22%
- Teachers enrolled in our online learning modules by 71%
- Family and community members reached by 398%
Our work is split across all 3 school sectors:
- Government 43%
- Catholic 32%
- Independent 25%
And we cover all faith-based and secular schools.
Please donate today so we can reach even more students and teachers in 2025 and build cohesive communities.
In 2024, our first National Youth Summit was held at The Parliament of Australia in Canberra, with schools from around the country attending.
In 2023, we held our inaugural Victorian Youth Summit in partnership with the Asia Education Foundation. We also held a NSW Youth Summit at the Parliament of NSW later that year.
How do we do this?
Working with school communities we teach students to deal and respect differences and help teachers make classrooms more inclusive. Our skilled educators are from diverse cultural and faith backgrounds and model respectful relationships to deliver our programs. As tensions are rising in the general community as well as schools, we teach respect, empathy and help form connections that transcend differences of culture and belief.
Please donate today so we can further our reach as the need for our work grows.
